Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. (Proverbs 31:10)

We thank God for giving us a woman described in the 31st chapter of Proverbs to be our Mother and we give her back to Him with the full assurance of a great reunion in Heaven.

Mother's Birthday Cake
We are thankful that we were all there to celebrate your 77th Birthday!
The large heart represented you and each of the small ones represented a child, grandchild or great-grandchild.

~ Farewell To Mother ~

Today we say goodbye to your physical remains. I will think of you every day until we meet again.

You are only as far as my thoughts and heart. I can truly close my eyes and see your smile and feel your warm embrace.

Please know that no children could have had a more loving and caring Mother.

My heart is heavy with sorrow over your passing. You are now in a better place and receiving God and Dad's embrace.

You left this physical life with grace and dignity. I am PROUD of you, all your children are PROUD to have had you for a Mother.

We are not saying goodbye to you, only to your physical body.

You and Dad will always be in our hearts and memory.

Until we meet again.

Love
William

What a Friend We Had in Mother

What a friend we had in mother,
Who would all our secrets share.
We would never keep things from her,
Told her all and she was there.

Oh what tender love she gave us,
When in sorrow or despair.
Told her gently whispered softly,
She would listen, she'd be there.

Day by day as she grew older,
She was there, our guiding star.
Don't forget the prayers she taught you,
You may need them by and far.

When her eyes did close in slumber,
Gently kissed her icy brow.
Fold her arms upon her bosom,
she will rest in heaven now.

When your days are dark and dreary,
And your cross seems hard to bare.
do not let your memories fail you,
Think of her and she'll be there.

I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I'm following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard Him call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day.
To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone, must stay that way.
I found peace at close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy!

A love shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes! These things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life's been full, I've savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.

To All My Loved Ones

Do not stand by my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn's rain

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight;
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there
I did not die.

Remember Me

To the living I am gone
To the sorrowful, I will never return
To the angry, I was cheated.

But to the happy, I am at peace
And to the faithful, I have never left.

I cannot speak, but I can listen
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard.

So, as you stand upon a shore,
Gazing at a beautiful sea
Remember me.

As you look in awe at a mighty forest
And its grand majesty
Remember me.

Remember me in your heart,
Your thoughts and your memories
Of the times we cried,
The times we fought,
The times we laughed

For if you always think of me,
I will never be gone from your side.

Death is a Season

Death is a season
We all must pass through
And just like the flowers,
God awakens us too
So why should we grieve
When our loved ones die,
For we'll meet them again
In a cloudless sky.

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Swing low, sweet chariot,
Comin' for to carry me home.
Swing low, sweet chariot,
Comin' for to carry me home.

I looked over Jordan, and what did I see,
Comin' for to carry me home.
A band of angels comin' after me,
Comin' for to carry me home.

If you get there before I do,
Comin' for to carry me home.
Just tell my friends that I'm a comin' too.
Comin' for to carry me home.

I'm sometimes up and sometimes down,
Comin' for to carry me home.
But still my soul feels heavenly bound.
Comin' for to carry me home.
